Devin Trainor , the intern for this course, recently graduated from Humboldt State University in California, with a BA in environmental science. In addition to his good looks, he brings to this course a much appreciated knowledge of both bicycle repair and the invaluable perspective of a course alum.

Alison Schneider grew up in Idaho, and currently is studying Resource Conservation at the University of Montana. She has proved herself to be a valuable rider with awesome cooking skills, as well as her massage therapy chops.

Peter Malley is a student at Montana State University studying Sustainable Foods and Bioenergy Systems. He hails from Essex, Vermont and always carries around a large container of REAL maple syrup.

Hannah Greene is a student at Montana State studying Environmental Studies. Hannah is from Vermont, and was very excited that Peter brought maple syrup on this trip. She is an avid skier and loves her pink handlebar streamers.

Logan O'Donell Logan joins to us from far away Michigan, where he attends Western Michigan University. A sophomore studying art education, he brings a unique perspective to our nomadic band. Logan is a passionate cyclist, and sports a wicked Iron Maiden jersey.

Kady McFadden is from the Chi-town suburbs, and is a student at Washington University studying Environmental Studies and Political Science. Bikes are not the only rig that Kady can pilot, she's flown a plane! She also rides in style with a sweet Surly set-up.

Elise Tonelli majors in environmental studies at the University of Pittsburgh. Her interests include Italy, Nutella, dogs, and snakes. Her best friend on the trip is B.O.B.

Dave Morris
Dave Morris, WRFI instructor extraordinaire, is back for the third iteration of Cycle the Rockies. He bring to the course a wealth of knowledge about the people we meet and places we travel through... and a very old bike.

Nicky Phear co-creator of the course, Wilderness and Civilization Instructor at the U of Montana, and avid outdoorswoman, will meet us in Judith Gap for the wind farm tour. Nicky is active in climate change education and coordinates a new minor in Climate Change Studies at UM (http://www.cfc.umt.edu/ccs/). She brings mad organizational skills, a passion for field-based education, and handstands.

Noah Pollock hails from the Green Mountains of Vermont and is instructing on the course for the first time. He brings great expertise in energy consulting through his work with the Burlington based consulting firm Spring Hill Solutions , web-mastering, and cycling experience - as well as large unsliced loaves of bread.
