Shane Randle

Intern

Shane grew up exploring the mountains of her native Washington State.  After going to school in eastern Washington and working for a mountaineering guide service in Seattle, she made the leap to Montana, spending a summer as a raft guide outside of Yellowstone National Park and joining WRFI the following fall. Hooked on this region, she settled in Missoula and completed her undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies with a special passion for Environmental Education. Now, she works for Missoula Parks and Recreation’s Missoula Outdoor Recreation & Education Program, where she exposes elementary school students to the wonders of nature play.  In her free time, Shane enjoys cooking, gardening, and playing outside every weekend.  She can usually be found hiking, skiing, biking, and climbing in the neighboring mountains or running off into the desert for weeks on end.
