As a student with a major outside of the usual WRFI demographic, coming into this course was kind of a gamble. But my love for adventure and the outdoors inspired me to come on this course. In the end, I learned a lot about other subject areas and my own. I learned how to connect my passion for the outdoors to my field of study (social work) and how I can integrate them in the future.
