Ted has over 15 years of experience working in the backcountry for organizations such as as the Colorado Outward Bound School, Nature-Link Institute and WRFI as well as a wilderness medicine instructor for Aerie Backcountry Medicine. He has a both a BA and MA in Environmental Studies from the University of Montana, where he worked with WRFI students to better understand behavior changes of students of environmental education programs. In addition, Ted has BS in Nursing and currently works as a Registered Nurse at Saint Patrick’s Hospital. Ted is excited to combine his interests of education and medicine to serve on the WRFI board and safety committee. Ted has been a world traveler from birth and enjoys rock climbing, mountaineering, backcountry skiing, and exploring with his family.
