Zoe Transtrum

Administrative Assistant

Zoe first became involved with the Wild Rockies Field Institute when she attended the Restoration Ecology course in 2021. While trekking across the backcountry of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, she fell in love with identifying native flora, stargazing, wolf watching, and summiting peaks. Wanting to keep those bits of magic in her life, Zoe joined the WRFI team as an intern and now serves as an administrative assistant. She feels inspired by the passion and joy everyone involved with WRFI brings and, as a recent alum, enjoys connecting with prospective students. Zoe is completing her final semester at the University of Montana, with majors in Environmental Studies and Sustainability Science & Practice, as well as minors in Climate Change Studies and Restoration Ecology. In her free time you can find Zoe playing soccer, trail running, or hanging out at coffee shops in Missoula pretending to do homework.
