Eliza Maleski

Administrative Assistant

Eliza’s journey with WRFI began on the Colorado Plateau in the spring of 2021. The longer she navigated, studied and rolled around in the desert, the more she became motivated to continue her involvement with the non-profit. She believes WRFI courses challenge students physically, mentally and emotionally, and will talk anyone’s ear off about the value of experiential education. Before her position as an Administrative Assistant, she acted as a Campus Ambassador at the University of Montana in Missoula. She plans to graduate from UM in May of 2022 with a B.S. in Geography. She works at the University’s Outdoor Program leading trips and classes. She is grateful to be a part of the WRFI community and hopes to someday scrounge up a Master’s Degree so she can go back into the field as an instructor. In her free time, she’s learning new outdoor activities, drinking coffee, and seeing live music around Missoula.
