Outdoor gear can be expensive, and we recognize that the cost of required equipment can be a barrier to participation. The Wild Rockies Field Institute is excited to offer a limited selection of rental gear to help make our courses more accessible.

Rental gear is available for a small fee, with rental costs varying based on the length of your course. “Short courses” include Restoration Ecology, Environmental Ethics, Cycle the Rockies, or Southwest Climate Studio Art; semester courses include Conservation Across Boundaries, Colorado Plateau, or Montana Afoot & Afloat. We expect all students to care for rented equipment as if it were their own so that WRFI can continue to maintain this gear library for future students for years to come.
