Gail Gutsche

Development Consultant

Gail joined WRFI in January 2022 to serve as Interim Executive Director and has remained on board as a development consultant for the organization. A former WRFI Board member, Gail has a long history with the organization, is committed to its mission and invested in a successful transition. Originally from Minnesota, Gail grew up waterskiing, sailing, boating, fishing, ice skating and playing broom hockey on White Bear Lake. Gail has called Missoula her home for the past 30 years. She has had an extensive career in nonprofit development, fund raising and programming. In addition, Gail served four terms in the Montana House of Representatives, and one term on the Montana Public Service Commission. A graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter MN, Gail majored in English with a Journalism emphasis. Gail enjoys writing, cooking, camping, hiking, and biking, but on any given sunny day, she’d rather be on the river.
