Kelsey Wellington
A born-and-raised New Yorker, Kelsey turned her dream of mountain town living into a reality in 2016, when she moved to Montana and never looked back. She holds a B.S. in Wildlife Biology from the University of New Hampshire and spent six years working as a biologist and researcher in ecosystems all over the world. In 2019, she shifted her focus to outdoor education, becoming a wildlife guide in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem and reveling in the opportunity to inspire a love for wild landscapes in others. An avid writer and storyteller, Kelsey earned her M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Lindenwood University in 2022. Today, she blends her love of education, creative writing, science, and connection into her role as Student Experience Manager, where she excitedly connects students to the Northern Rockies and works to expand WRFI’s influential network.
