Ted Tarricone
Ted Tarricone is a bike advocate, environmental researcher, and storyteller exploring the intersection of community resilience, infrastructure, and regenerative systems. Raised in the flatlands of Indiana, where highway overpasses doubled as hill training, he learned early that curiosity, movement, and a sense of place can take you a long way.
For Ted, nature is more than something to study or protect—it’s the ground from which we grow, a foundation for challenge, learning, and joy. With a master’s degree from Western Washington University’s Institute for Energy Studies and a background in long-distance bike travel, he works to connect environmental systems to everyday life through field education, responsible tourism, and multimedia storytelling. He believes in the power of local action, the value of a long ride, and the kind of conversation that unfolds as the next horizon comes into view.
When he’s not meandering on the side roads or trails, you can find him based in the Pacific Northwest skiing, strumming a guitar, or dipping in some cold water.
