Wild Rockies Field Institute raises the bar on experiential learning. As a two-time WRFI alum, I can say that some of my most meaningful college experiences have come from my courses in Montana and on the Colorado Plateau. I learned academic material that translates well back to my home institution and now have practical knowledge about life in the backcountry and living in community. WRFI has made me a more well-rounded individual and the lessons I learned, academically and personally, will be carried with me for the rest of my life.
